Raymond Velvet is treated with finishes from "Flurogard" Fabric Protector, a fluro chemical textile process, to protect it from stain and soil. This treatment puts a protective shield around the velvet fibres repelling water and oily liquids. Typically, liquid spills bead up on the surface of the fabric, giving time to blot the liquid away. Flurogard protection also makes it easier to spot-clean set-in stains even if one is not present when a spill occurs. This ensures the furniture will have "the spotless look" and retain a "new like" appearance longer regardless of how often the spills occur and the perfect finish will always be part of your furniture. The effectiveness of "Flurogard" Fabric Protector does not lie solely for months or years. It lies, rather, in the wear and tear on the fabric. As fibres wear out, so do finishes. The finish will give protection better and longer where the furniture is regularly vacuumed and where users are careful. Obviously, where furniture use is light, the finish will last longer than where usage is constant and heavy.
To cater to the specific requirements of auditoriums, theatres & automobile industry, the facility to treat the entire product range is available. The fabric is treated with special chemicals to impart fire resistant property to the fabric.
