Raymond strengthened its presence in carded woollen through a joint venture with Lanificio Fedora, Italy's leading woollen fabric manufacturer.

As part of this joint venture, we have set up a new world class manufacturing facility for carded woollen fabric at Jalgaon in Maharashtra. Following this joint venture, our manufacturing capacities have grown from 1.5 million meters per annum to 2.5 million meters per annum in the first phase.

The new plant spread across 13 acres of land, brings to bear the technical expertise and practices from Lanificio Fedora. Today, we offer our domestic and international customers a range of world-class products including blankets, shawls and woollen jacketing.

Founded in 1948, Lanificio Fedora is the largest producer of carded woollen fabric in the world. With a turnover of about 110 million Euros, Lanificio Fedora supplies its products to some of the most renowned fashion brands across the world.

We are the largest producer of woollen blankets in the country and offer the widest range of woollen blankets and pashmina shawls. These are made from pure and regenerated wools in an array of colours and designs in plains, dobbies and jacquards. We also produce a fine range of shawls in cashmere and pure wool. more »
